About Us
Local Favor, LLC is a New Hampshire based corporation in good standing with the State of New Hampshire's Secretary of State.
The company was started by Keith & Daleen Clark in November of 2011.
We are committed to ensuring that The Local Favor Merchant Network becomes the leading state-wide, buy local movement in 2012.
Currently, there are several non-profit organizations diligently working to support buy local initiatives in different regions of the state. Unlike the local Chamber of Commerce, also actively engaged in supporting local economies, Local Favor LLC as a privately held, for-profit corporation. We are not affiliated with any other organization however we welcome strategic alliances at the most local level with an eye toward facilitating best practices throughout.
In the southwestern part of the state, Monadnock Buy Local is doing a fantastic job working to build a strong local economy and a vibrant community throughout the 34 towns in The Monadnock Region. In the central part of the state, The Belknap Independent Business Alliance is working hard to promote locally owned, independent businesses throughout the Lakes Region. Finally, Seacoast Buy Local, strives to deliver the forum whereby local independent businesses can come together and transform the seacoast of New Hampshire into an economic force for the benefit of the entire community.
We are pleased that all these resources are in our state. We endorse and support them with passion and commitment. We encourage any locally owned, independent business owners, fortunate enough to have one of these organizations already engaged, to participate actively. We look to augment the work of these organizations through a tangible community rewards card that will be valid in every part of New Hampshire, The Local Favor Community Rewards Card. Our goal is to create and sustain a buy local marketing / fundraising tool; a common thread that will not only expand and leverage the synergy that already exists between these groups, while encouraging, even expand their membership.
In 2012, Local Favor LLC will progressively introduce a The Local Favor Community Rewards Card to every county of New Hampshire, thereby strengthening the movements that are already in place while reaching out to independent business owners and communities with less organized buy local movements in place.
Our mission is to spur economic recovery and growth through innovative marketing tools that will promote a shift in consumption away from national chains & big box stores and towards NH-based, independent businesses. The economic and community benefits of this mission are well established and documented in the thorough research found in books like The Big Box Swindle, Localvesting & many others.
The card will deliver a tangible, "state of the art," marketing tool to an entire network of New Hampshire businesses, while supporting local charitable causes, and delivering real savings to the New Hampshire's shoppers.
